LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Last updated on 30-Aug-18

On Wednesday evening, FOCIS secretary Christine Grayden received the Museums Australia Victoria Lifetime Achievement Award. This is THE award out of many for the night. Christine has been volunteering and working on Churchill Island on and off since 1978, and has been involved with the Phillip Island & District Historical Society since that time, and the Phillip Island Conservation Society since 1968. She is pictured here with Liz Rushon, Chair of the History Council of Victoria who made the presentation. In attendance to support Christine were Kate Adams (who made the nomination), Graeme Clauscen, president of the historical society, Judy Gittus, treasurer and chief cataloguer of the historical society, and David Maunders, president of FOCIS.
