Cowes Primary students visit

Last updated on 06-Mar-16

Last week over two days (Wednesday 9th and Friday 11th March) we were fortunate to have four grade three classes and three grade four classes from Cowes Primary School visit the museum. While one class watched the DVD then had a lesson in "living history" from our secretary Christine, who used a wind handle mincing machine and a flat iron as props, the other class was in the museum exploring and filling in a worksheet as they went. They all had a great time and learnt heaps! Thanks to Christine, Cheryl, John and Anne who answered lots of eager questions from the students.
