Rather than create two long videos for our "At Home and at War - Phillip Island" project, funded by a grant from the Victorian Government, we have decided to create shorter videos for each of the veterans and POWs for whom we have 1995 videos. Some of the 1996 interviews are quite short, but thanks to our research team we have been able to discover quite a bit about the nature of these men's service and their locations during the war. The first veteran to be featured is Les Findlay, who served in Darwin during the bombing, New Guinea and New Britain. More veterans' videos will be added as they are completed. You can find them at the society's Youtube channel: Phillip Island & District Historical Society:
