John Adam Mural to be restored

Last updated on 21 May 2017

The mural painted by John Adam twelve years ago which has been affixed to the western wall of the Heritage Centre all that time, is now showing signs of weathering. Flaking and peeling in some sections, the mural is in need of conservation work, which John is willing to undertake. We are now negotiating with Bass Coast Shire, who own the building, to remove the three affected sections of the four and have them transported to a studio where John can work on them. Photo shows a grandfather explaining the history represented on the mural to his grandson.
