Phillip Island is to host the next Museums Australia Victoria conference to be held at the Cultural and Heritage Centres in Cowes from 5-7 October 2016. (No state conference in 2015) Partners in the conference include MA(Vic), Phillip Island Nature Parks – Churchill Island Heritage Farm, Bass Coast Shire Council and Destination Phillip Island. The society’s museum will be open all day on the 6th and 7th October with members in attendance, and conference delegates will be able to visit for free. Volunteers from Bass Coast Heritage Group organisations will be in attendance at the conference in a vareity of roles. More details closer to the time.
